Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“the Client”) and Amira, trading as The Communication Expert (“I”, “me”, “my”) for the provision of coaching, training, speaking, and related services (“Services”).

By booking, purchasing, or participating in any of my Services, you are agreeing to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services Provided

I offer 1:1 coaching, group coaching, corporate training, workshops, speaking engagements, consultancy, and digital resources. Each Service is described clearly before booking, so you know exactly what’s included.

2. Payment Terms

  • Payment details will be confirmed in your booking confirmation or proposal.

  • All fees must be paid in full, or according to the agreed payment plan, before Services begin.

  • Prices are subject to change, but once booked, your rate is locked in.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

1:1 Coaching & Deep Dive Sessions

  • At least 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session. Less than this may result in the session being forfeited.

  • Refunds are not provided once a programme or session has started.

  • If you cancel before your first session, I will refund any amount paid, minus any non-refundable deposit (if applicable).

Workshops, Corporate Training & Speaking

  • Cancellations within 14 days of delivery may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed rate.

  • Refunds are not available once the booking is confirmed, but dates may be rescheduled if agreed in writing.

Events

  • Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another attendee.

Digital Products

  • Due to their nature, digital downloads and resources are non-refundable once delivered.

4. Coaching Disclaimer

My Services are designed to support your personal and professional growth.

  • No Guarantees. While I use proven tools and methods, your outcomes depend on your effort, circumstances, and commitment.

  • Not Therapy. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, medical advice, or legal counsel. If needed, I can refer you to qualified professionals.

  • Your Responsibility. You are responsible for the decisions, actions, and results arising from our work together.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Use

All materials, frameworks, resources, and content shared during Services are for your personal use only.

  • You may not copy, share, reproduce, or adapt them without my written consent.

  • For corporate clients, a separate licensing agreement can be arranged for wider team use.

6. Confidentiality

All discussions during coaching or training are confidential unless you provide permission for me to share, or I am required by law to disclose.

7. Accessibility

I aim to make my Services accessible to all clients. If you require adjustments (e.g., captions, alternative formats, physical accessibility), please let me know in advance so I can accommodate where possible.

8. Diversity & Inclusion

My work is grounded in respect for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, age, or ability. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment in all my Services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my Services.

  • My total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the relevant Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
